It's not as if I didn't have anything else to do today other than take quizzes...it's more like taking quizzes kept me from thinking about everything else that I should be doing (mostly housework and mousework).

I'm a Common Toad!

The largest toad found commonly in Europe, the Bufo Bufo species can grow up to 20cm in length with a rotund body. Active mostly at night, this toad will walk about slowly, sometimes making short jumps, in search of insects, worms and other invertebrates. This makes it of great help to farmers. At the end of autumn it buries itself in the soil where it remains until good weather arrives again.

What kind of Frog are you?

I toadally agree with the idea of sleeping through winter.

It's almost Kentucky Derby time!
Oaks Pie
The real Derby Pie is made by Kern's Kitchen. This comes close so I call it "Oaks Pie". The Kentucky Oaks is for 3-year-old fillies and is run the day before the Kentucky Derby.
4 whole eggs
1/4 cup brown sugar
1 teaspoon vanilla
1 stick margarine
1 tablespoon flour
3/4 cup white sugar
1 cup pecans
1 cup white corn syrup
1 cup chocolate chips
9 inch unbaked pie shell
Melt butter. Beat eggs and add the butter and eggs to other ingredients. Pour into pie shell. Bake at 350 degrees for 45 minutes.

If you don't bake, you can have a real Derby Pie delivered to you.

I have a friend who does beading. Her site has pictures of bracelets, necklaces, earrings, and other beaded treasures she has done. I wish I had the skill and patience to do something like this.
