I went down to the Girl Scout council to register my Brownie troop yesterday. We are now an official troop (# 1975). I have to add that I've been lucky that so many mothers of the girls in my troop have offered to help in any way that is needed. I've heard stories of some parents who seem to think that having their daughter in scouts is a free babysitting service, it's nice not to have to go through that with my troop.
