At work I have goals...sell wireless phones, mostly. With JoeAnt, I have goals...add interesting and useful sites and find good volunteer editors. I haven't been able to do any of the JA things lately since everything is on hold until the relaunch.

I thought I would make a list of personal goals. Not the serious kind like pay off all my bills or do more housework. These are just things I would like to do (or do again) sometime in my life.

Own a convertible.

Slide down a waterfall (I did this a camp on summer and would like to do
it again.)

Visit Australia.

Own a house with a few acres of land so I can have lots of pets...and a
horse.

Go on a road trip for a whole summer. I'm not usually much of a car
traveler, I would rather fly so I can get where I'm going as quickly as
possible, but I think if the destination was the trip itself I might enjoy
it.

Take lessons in ballroom dancing.

Go whale watching.

Swim with dolphins.

Have a vacation cabin somewhere. On a mountain or by a lake, but
lots of trees are a necessity. I wouldn't say no to a house on a beach
either.

Get box seats for the Kentucky Derby.

Those are the things that come to mind now...I'm sure I'll think of more later. I didn't include things that are more of an expectation than a wish, like see my children grow up and graduate from college, get married, and provide me with grandchildren that I can spoil (that last one is more of a payback sort of thing.)

Women are compassionate, and loving, and caring.
Women cry when they are happy.
Women are always doing little things to show they care.
They will stop at nothing to get what they think is best for their children (best school, best prom dress, best dentist)
Women have the ability to keep smiling when they are so tired they can hardly stand up.
They know how to turn a simple meal into an occasion.
Women know how to get the most for their money
They know how to comfort a sick friend.
Women bring joy and laughter to the world.
The know how to entertain children for hours on end!
They are honest and loyal.
Women have a will of iron under that soft exterior.
They will go the extra mile to help a friend in need.
Women are easily brought to tears by injustice.
They know how to make a man feel like a king.
Women make the world a much happier place to live.

Men are good at moving heavy things and killing spiders.
