I've added more pictures (one more of Zelda and one of Zoe) to the cats' blog. Both were pictures taken with my camera phone. I have some pictures of Zippy but I've taken those with a regular (film) camera and haven't gotten them developed yet.

Conor and Jeff have been going to Hwang's Martial Arts to study Tae Kwon Do. Last weekend they both went to test for (and received) their yellow belts.
This is a picture of Conor the first time he was handed a pair of nunchucks in class. Now he has his own. Eeeeeeeeek!

Disposable email. Actually any email address is disposable, what this really does is provide you with a temporary email address. You can set it to last from 24 hours to 8 days.
And some more.

I was looking at Buy Music.com to see what kind of selection they offer. I have no problem with the idea of paying for songs I download. In fact, I would rather pay and be assured of getting a good quality file (and not have to worry about downloading something that could harm my computer.)
I have mixed feelings about what I found. Some songs by artists that I searched for had samples I could listen to but the songs/album wasn't available for purchase. There was nothing by Marcia Ball or Ruth Brown. On the other hand, there were a few Etta James songs and many Eric Clapton/Cream/Dominos selections.

I was reading a section on Boycott Hollywood about Legally Blonde 2 and PETA. It had a quote from a PETA member:
What we must do is start viewing every cow, pig, chicken, monkey, rabbit, mouse and pigeon as our family members. (Original source)
I occasionally consider my children to be monkeys but I don't think that's quite the same as considering monkeys to be family. I consider cows, pigs, and chickens to be dinner.
